many things inside Dell run on Linux servers and desktops already and have been doing so since they started converting in 2003 with redhat
Tho I do have to say that lately Ubuntu is really stepping up to the plate, it might even manage to increase market share rather then the laughable redhat attempt to woo customers in 2004 (http://news.com.com/2100-7344_3-5205117.html) that drove an increase in MS retail sales for people converting back to windows + Office
